Hey Defiants!
I know, I know… it’s been almost two weeks and where’s the newest update, right? Let me share a couple of things with you…
Next update is still in progress and I promise to have it up in a couple of days. The battle between Lucas-Icario and Azdruba continues, but I’m also in the middle of a tough battle as well, dealing with tons of work relating Turbo Defiant’s upcoming printed editions, both its English and Spanish version… not only doing art and dialogue adjustments (which there are still a good bunch of those pending) but also finding the best way to bring it to life and at a reasonable price.
The first thing I’ve encountered is that it’s completely impossible to put the first 80 pages in one single book for mass production. I mean it can be done, but it would be a very, VERY expensive book. As some of you know, I did a very short run of one hundred copies in 2011, but this was merely a thing done by enthusiasm that I didn’t exactly plan at the time, and as such, was not a profitable venture at all. A long run implies a considerable bigger investment, so I’ve to figure out how and where to cut the story so that we end up with a book anyone can buy. To get this done right is of ubber importance! I only got one chance to make this work.
I think the main challenge with Turbo Defiant is that I’ve always seen it as one single story that needs several books to be told. There are chapters, but those aren’t individual arcs for each book to solve separatelly, so it’s quite tough to find the best place to cut.
I’m still working on it and arranging and adaptating pages as I write this, I know many of you have been waiting for this and I can assure you that very soon you’ll be able to finally have it in your hands with a beautiful hardcover featuring entirely new, never before seen cover art. Badass Turbo HC edition.
So hang on, we’re not going anywhere and if you stick around for the following weeks, you’ll be here for pretty darn good news, as we’re going to make the impossible finally happen… I know, I’m not saying a damn thing. I can’t… but it’s gonna be AWESOME, so STAY TUNED

Hey Defiants
Just to let you know that I’m a little behind with this week’s update, but with good reason :}
Protobunker (My comics copany in case you didn’t know ;D) is back online and the new website has tons of material for anyone interested in all the things we do over there; digital color, concept art, illustration -and of course- our own comics and graphic novels. It has been a gigantic task to compile the many works we’ve done over the years, but it was so worth it. Finally we’ve a conprehensive archive with the most important gigs we’ve done so far, so head over there and take a look!
And that’s not all, we’re aiming toward new horizons, planning a bunch of new cool stuff, so stay tuned!
Next week has a few bosses besides Turbo Defiant that I’ve to take care of, but I think we can have 2 updates. Send me your good vibes!

Hey Defiant, a new update is here!
So far, this is the shortest update we’ve done and definitely one of the hardest pages I’ve done until now… it’s a damn weird feeling, lol. this update lasts a heartbeat but there are a LOT of things on display here. We’ll get into some of the “details” from this update in future episodes, so make sure you take a good first look to The Other Side.
It was a lot of fun to do, I hope you enjoy it 
I’m a little behind schedule and the next page in line is no walk in the park either…so, I gather my strenght, take a good big breath and…

I’m really excited about the next few pages that will wrap this chapter, I really can’t wait to have those up.
Through the comments, somebody asked me this past week how much time does it take to do each update, and since I wrote my response I’ve been thinking in ways to optimize the process cause 16 to 22 hours is a f*cking lot!! lol…
I love working on this story, but wouldn’t be awesome to have two or even three Turboupdates per week? I bet you would like that 
It’s a tough nut, but I’m feeling the need of speeding things up a bit here. Wouldn’t hurt. Wouldn’t hurt at all I think.
I’ll see y’all next week, in the meantime, PLEASE Keep sharing this adventure with everyone, you don’t have an idea of HOW IMPORTANT that is for this project to stay afloat. I’m counting on you
